Race for the Cure 2009

One of the main reason Sarah came into town was to do the Race for the Cure. Colorado has the largest race turnout in the country (I think…). Sarah and I have been doing the race together for six years. The first couple years, we ran the race. Then babies started happening. In 2006, I ran alone because Sarah was on bed rest. In 2007, we walked the race and I ended up being put on bed rest the next day. In 2008, Sarah was pregnant again. This year, it’s my turn to be with child. Hopefully next year, we will be fetus free and running the race.

Sarah’s friend, Lauren, has also done the race for several years, walking it with us for the last three. She had a baby just two weeks prior to this year’s race which makes her one tough cookie. Sarah’s friend, Laina, is taking the photo.

This is such a cute story! I just wanted to thank both of you on behalf of the Denver Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We're honored to have both of you to continue to support us year after year. Also, we'd love to have you upload your pictures to http://www.facebook.com/KomenDenver
